Summer Camp 2021 @ Camp Allen
Since 1921, Camp Allen has been providing kids with the best week of their lives! Located one hour northwest of Houston, Camp Allen offers annual, week-long residential camp sessions for young people, ages 8-18.
Summer Camp at Camp Allen has always been a special part of the St. Michael’s community. Families, youth, and even young adults have participated in various ways throughout the years—as campers, session directors, and summer staff. This summer, St. Michael’s has six sessions with seven directors who are connected to our church community. In addition, three of our own young people, Matthew Emery, Sarah Heinze, and Kathryn Scott, are serving as summer staff, living on site for 12 weeks to facilitate the daily camp activities.
Over 500 campers have already registered! Participating in summer camp is such a foundational childhood experience, and Camp Allen is a special place. Your children will learn more about God’s love, about the Episcopal Church, and will make lifelong friends in the piney woods. The heart of Camp Allen has been to love God and make Him known.
