How to Get Involved - Adults

There are many ways you can get involved at St. Michael's. Monthly church-sponsored events may range from family picnics to retreats. Please see Upcoming Events for a list. However the way to really engage in the Church community, is to get involved with a group at St. Michael's. Group involvement is one of our seven expectations and is part of our Mission Statement (see the About Us link to the left). As you review the descriptions below, there may be a group you would like to see on the list. Let the clergy know and perhaps a new group can be started at St. Michael's. As you discern which group or groups appeal to you, please talk to the clergy or other members. Of course, the discernment will involve prayer. Make your decision and get involved.

Group involvement at St. Michael's can be divided into four categories.
1. Spiritual.Growth - There are Sunday School classes for both adults and children on Sunday morning as well as different small groups.
2. Community Support - Groups that can allow you to support other people who are in need of assistance.
3. Worship - Volunteers are needed to help with the Sunday morning services.
4. Church Assistance - There are several ways you can assist the clergy by volunteering for various tasks associated with the Sunday School program or with the church property.
